Police have reportedly arrested two suspects, including the alleged sender of the pistol connected to the killing of 28-year-old Oghenemine Ogidi in Delta State.
According to reports, the suspects were taken to the Effurun Area Command under the Delta State Police Command as investigations continue into the movement of the firearm and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Sources disclosed that one of the arrested suspects allegedly sent the Beretta pistol and four rounds of ammunition from Bayelsa State to Effurun through a transport company. The weapon was reportedly meant for an owner in Sapele before Oghenemine picked up the parcel.

A source familiar with the investigation said police were still trying to identify the role of the second suspect, who may have been the driver that transported the parcel from Yenagoa.
