In a recent address, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has urgently appealed to President Bola Tinubu to address the worsening security situation across the nation. Drivetvnews reports that they continued with Highlighting the pervasive bloodshed of innocent citizens, the organization emphasized the critical need for immediate intervention.PFN President, Bishop Wale Oke, delivered the plea during a press briefing following a meeting of the organization’s leaders. He implored President Tinubu to acknowledge the severity of the crisis and take swift, decisive action to stem the tide of violence.Bishop Oke emphasized the importance of unity among Nigerians in confronting these challenges, urging collective action and solidarity. He called upon President Tinubu to utilize executive powers effectively, declaring a state of emergency on insecurity and implementing robust measures to restore peace.Additionally, PFN highlighted the pressing issue of food insecurity, urging the government to prioritize economic stability and provide immediate solutions to alleviate hunger.In conclusion, the PFN reaffirmed its commitment to supporting President Tinubu in addressing the nation’s challenges and pledged cooperation from over 65 million Pentecostals in Nigeria.
