A man identified as AJ was tragically discovered dead in his car at Mechanic Village in the Idimu area of Lagos State. AJ had reportedly attended a Good Friday service at a church in the area before the incident occurred.
According to reports from Punch, AJ, a member of the church, had stepped out during the service to retrieve something from his parked car on the premises. An eyewitness mentioned that another church member greeted AJ when they saw him in the car but received no response.
Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that AJ was motionless in the vehicle. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was found to have foamed from his mouth, indicating his passing.
The incident caused shock and concern in the community, leading to the abrupt end of the church service. AJ’s wife, who was also present at the service, received support and consolation from fellow church members.
Despite efforts to gather information, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that he was unaware of the incident.
