The Nigeria Police Force has officially declared Dorcas Adeyinka, a Lagos socialite and blogger, wanted for various offenses including cyber-stalking, abduction, and murder. They have urged the public to apprehend her and deliver her to the nearest police station or the IGP Monitoring Unit in Force Headquarters, Abuja.

Adeyinka, described as a married female Yoruba blogger from Ekiti State and Ibadan, Oyo State capital, is approximately 1.64m tall with distinct facial features such as tribal marks, a pointed nose, wide mouth, full and white dentition, and light skin with black eyes. Despite living in the United Kingdom, she is known to frequent several areas in Lagos State, including Ikeja, Ogudu, and Fagba, as well as Otta and Sango in Ogun State.

Additionally, a Chief Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja, has summoned two social media users, Tolulope Adeoye aka Abike Jagaban, and Tolulope Odegbami aka Olowosibi, for allegedly defaming Adeyinka by sharing her nude photo online. The court summons, dated May 9, 2024, ordered the defendants to appear before the court on June 4, 2024, to address the charges filed against them by the complainant.

The criminal complaint, filed by the complainant’s lawyers led by Pelumi Olajengbesi of an Abuja-based law firm, Law Corridor, accuses the defendants of sharing Adeyinka’s nude photo on social media and subjecting her to ridicule. The complainant alleges that these actions constitute criminal defamation and contravene Section 391 of the Penal Code.

Magistrate Emmanuel Iyanna, presiding over the case, directed the complainant to serve the defendants with the criminal summons and all subsequent court processes via their social media handles or pages. The matter has been adjourned until June 4, 2024, with an order for the defendants to be present in court on that date.
