Nigerian skit creator Denilson Igwe has accused his former partner, Mark Angel, of fabricating a story about Emmanuella, his protégé, buying a house for her parents. In a video from 2020, Emmanuella was seen presenting a house to her parents. However, in a recent video released by the Honest Bunch podcast, Denilson claimed that Mark Angel falsely stated Emmanuella had purchased the house. He asserted that Emmanuella was not aware of the cost of construction materials and had no access to her social media accounts, which Mark Angel controls.
Denilson also criticized the living conditions of Emmanuella and Success, noting that there are many males in Mark Angel’s household and that both Emmanuella and Success are grown women.
Additionally, Denilson disclosed that he left Mark Angel after realizing he was being cheated along with other crew members. He revealed that before they started creating their popular skits, Mark worked as a security guard at Kilimanjaro in GRA, Port Harcourt. Denilson claimed he was responsible for the videography for Mark Angel’s Comedy, which was posted on Facebook, but was not informed when their page was monetized. According to Denilson, Mark did not share any of the monetization revenue with him until 2016, when he gave him ₦50,000 after purchasing a car for himself. Denilson further alleged that despite earning $160,000 monthly from Facebook revenue, Mark paid Emmanuella only ₦20,000 per month.
