Once a devoted admirer of Tinubu, Nkechi Blessing had previously communicated with him via phone. However, her political allegiance shifted during the 2023 election when she endorsed Peter Obi and the Labour Party.
In her latest video, Nkechi Blessing directed a message to President Tinubu in light of a planned nationwide protest scheduled for Thursday, August 1, 2024.
The Nollywood actress urged President Tinubu to engage with the youth regarding his strategies to tackle rising food prices. She advised that instead of trying to prevent the protests, the president should meet the youth halfway, sharing his plans to alleviate food costs and support those in need during this challenging period.
