Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is currently addressing a World Press Conference in Abuja, addressing the controversy surrounding President Bola Tinubu’s certificate. The press conference is being held at the Shehu Musa ‘Yar’adua Auditorium, Wuse 2 in Abuja.

During the conference, Atiku is expected to present evidence regarding a forged Diploma Certificate from the Chicago State University (CSU) that was submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by President Bola Tinubu. Atiku will display a Certified True Copy of the deposition made by CSU Registrar, Caleb Westberg, on Wednesday, along with the audio recording of the deposition and conclusions made by United States Federal Judge, Nancy Maldonado.

Atiku is contesting the declaration of Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 election, and he continues to claim discrepancies and forgeries in Tinubu’s academic records. Atiku’s request for the US court for the Northern District of Illinois to compel CSU to release Tinubu’s academic records has been granted, making the records public. Atiku plans to use this information in his legal proceedings against Tinubu at the Supreme Court.
