According to a report, an aide in the Anambra Government House has been dismissed following the leak of a video showing Governor Charles Soludo dancing to the song “Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo” with several individuals. The video was reportedly recorded secretly despite Governor Soludo’s explicit instructions for the event to remain off-the-record.
The source who spoke to The Whistler revealed that Soludo had requested that the moment be kept private before he started dancing. Although most attendees followed this directive, one staff member secretly recorded and leaked the video.
“It was a surprise to the governor that the video was leaked. He had specifically asked everyone to put their cameras away and keep the moment private. We are still investigating how the video was released,” the source noted.
The video, which became widely circulated online, captured Governor Soludo dancing with officials and guests during the state’s 33rd anniversary celebration.
The individual responsible for leaking the video was terminated from their position, with suspicions that they may have been working for the opposition. A source who was present at the event commented, “The governor’s actions were intended to be private, meant to bring light-heartedness and joy to the event. We are disappointed by the leak and are taking measures to hold those responsible accountable.”
