Olalekan Ojo, the lawyer representing Naira Marley (Afeez Fashola), has denied allegations that his client was involved in the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad. Mohbad passed away on September 12 under unclear circumstances, leading to police investigations and a coroner inquest.

In a video chat with social media influencer Daddy Freeze, Naira Marley’s lawyer stated that there is no evidence to suggest that his client bullied Mohbad. He emphasized that there is no incident where Naira Marley mistreated Mohbad.

Ojo explained that a viral video, in which controversial Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, appeared to bully Mohbad but was stopped by Zlatan during a video shoot, was misinterpreted by the public. According to the lawyer, Larry, Mohbad, and Zlatan resolved their issue and even shared a meal together after the incident. He mentioned that there is a longer version of the video that shows the trio together, indicating that the situation was not as it appeared in the short clip.
