Prominent Nigerian skit maker, Chukwebuka Emmanuel, widely known as Brain Jotter, asserts that the viral physically challenged hawker, Eniola, exploited his disability to emotionally manipulate Nigerians rather than selling bottled water on the streets.
Eniola, hailing from Osun State, gained online fame when Brain Jotter spotted “her” peddling water in Lagos traffic during a film shoot. In an interview, Eniola claimed to be a cosmetics artist and received financial support of N400,000 from Brain Jotter to start a makeup business, which was shared on social media, drawing attention from Nigerians, including Davido.
However, Eniola faced backlash when revelations about his true gender identity emerged, coupled with allegations of receiving N600,000 in support just a month prior. Brain Jotter expressed disappointment, stating that the physically challenged hawker engaged in emotional blackmail to exploit people’s generosity.
Brain Jotter clarified that his concern wasn’t about Eniola’s gender but suggested that the disabled hawker engaged in deceptive tactics, referring to him as a potential thief.
