A woman identified as Benita Lurk Ikuenobe was discovered dead in a suspected suicide case inside the auditorium of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) Prayer City.

According to Naija News, the 41-year-old reportedly took her life at the MFM Prayer City camp situated along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The incident, which occurred on Friday morning, was confirmed by the church’s Chief Security Officer, Esiere Ekikere. He stated that he received a call at around 7:20 a.m. alerting him to the presence of an unresponsive woman lying on the auditorium floor.

Upon arriving at the scene, Ekikere found the woman lifeless, with an empty bottle of a substance believed to be “Sniper” — a toxic chemical — lying next to her.

Police officers were invited to the location to document the scene with photographs, after which the body was transferred to the morgue at Real Divine Hospital for an autopsy.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and acquaintances of the deceased are being questioned to uncover more details surrounding the tragic event.
