Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta is mourning the death of his son. The filmmaker shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, receiving an outpouring of condolences from fans and colleagues.

Renowned Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Ibrahim Chatta, has been thrown into mourning following the tragic loss of his son.

The actor shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram page, posting a picture of the deceased alongside a touching message.

> “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, dear son, champ,” Chatta wrote.

The announcement drew an outpouring of condolences from fans, colleagues, and fellow entertainers, many of whom filled his comment section with words of comfort and prayers.

This is not the first time the actor has spoken publicly about personal tragedy. In the past, Chatta revealed that he lost his first child due to an inability to afford medical bills.

Sadly, his recent bereavement comes at a time when Nollywood is grappling with multiple losses. Actress Peju Ogunmola and her husband, Omobolanle Sunday, recently lost their only child, Ayomikun, after a brief illness in Ibadan. Similarly, actor Francis Duru announced last year that his son, Ifeanyi, had passed away, describing him as “a lion who fought bravely for his life.”

The Nollywood community and fans continue to rally around Chatta during this difficult period, offering their prayers and support.
