The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, recently shared an intriguing prediction, suggesting the potential return of Jesus Christ on a future October 1st.
This statement emerged during a video message played at the homecoming reception of Nigeria’s just-recalled High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Sharafa Tunji-Ishola, in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
During his address, Pastor Adeboye praised Ishola for the unique honor of being the first ambassador to extend an invitation to the Nigeria House in the UK. Expressing gratitude, he highlighted the significant milestone, given that the Redeemed Christian Church of God had its beginnings in Britain in 1983.
In his reflections on Nigeria’s significance in the eyes of God, Pastor Adeboye shared intriguing insights. He emphasized the selection of October 1st as Nigeria’s Independence Day, suggesting a divine involvement in the country’s history. Referring to the Biblical “feast of trumpets” and its potential correlation with Jesus’ return, he linked this significant biblical date to Nigeria’s Independence Day.
He encouraged optimism despite the country’s challenges, expressing his firm belief in Nigeria’s promising future and affirming God’s special regard for the nation.
