Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed his intention to return to school in order to better manage his music career and business operations.
The Zazu crooner explained that although he already holds an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic, he now feels the need to further his education to gain a deeper understanding of the business side of the music industry.
Portable said his decision is motivated by a desire to properly manage his record label, Zeh Nation, and his music platforms without having to rely solely on others for advice.
“Even though I already have an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, I still want to go back to school so I can understand my music royalties and business deals better, especially for my record label, Zeh Nation,” he stated.
According to the singer, pursuing further education is not merely about obtaining another certificate but about acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to handle his career like a professional entrepreneur.
Portable emphasized that understanding business principles will help him manage his earnings wisely and strengthen the structure of his growing music empire.
