A man identified as Tony has reportedly been apprehended in Abia State over allegations that he sexually abused his 13-year-old biological daughter.
During questioning, the suspect reportedly admitted to engaging in sexual activity with the child, but claimed it happened only twice.
However, the girl reportedly told investigators that the alleged abuse began when she was nine years old and occurred repeatedly.
She identified the suspect as her biological father and reportedly said the incidents took place at their home.
The child also reportedly stated that her father did not give her money or gifts in exchange for keeping the matter secret.
