The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that United States President Donald Trump will introduce what he described as Nigeria’s style of politics in America.
Drivetvnews gathered that Ayodele made the prediction in a video shared on X while reacting to reports of Democratic Party victories in the US elections, including gains in Ohio and North Carolina, as well as the party’s reported takeover of the Senate.
The cleric blamed Trump’s leadership style, tariff policies and what he described as selfishness for the Republican Party’s setbacks.
He also claimed that many Americans no longer wanted Trump, his party or people associated with his administration.
Ayodele further criticised some Christian pastors in the United States, accusing them of failing to speak honestly to political leaders and allowing them to act without accountability.
The cleric recalled that he had earlier predicted pressure on the Republican Party ahead of the elections and warned that Democrats could make significant gains in key states.
“The Reps and the Senate are shaking; Democrats are coming,” he said.
He concluded by suggesting that the political situation in the United States could begin to resemble what he described as Nigeria’s political practice.
“This Nigerian practice is coming to America; wait and see, Trump will introduce it,” Ayodele said.
