An unidentified man was tragically killed in a suspected hit-and-run incident near Mile 2 in Lagos State. The event occurred around 9:30 pm on Friday along the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, close to the Ballet bus stop opposite Pinnacle Filling Station.
According to an eyewitness named Olusegun, the victim was struck by a vehicle while passing by, and the driver fled the scene immediately. Fortunately, a passerby promptly contacted the emergency response team.
Mr. Christopher Okudibe led the team, arriving at the scene around 6:15 am on Saturday to remove the body. In a video shared by the eyewitness, three team members were observed loading the wrapped corpse into their vehicle.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the Public Relations Officer for the Lagos State Police Command, stated that the incident had not been officially reported: “I am not aware of that yet because the case has not been reported.”
