The lifeless body of an unidentified woman has been discovered in a bush along Amaraku-Umudim Road in Isiala-Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

Reports from Drivetvnews indicate that the woman, who was pregnant, was found with her upper garment removed.

The incident occurred early on Tuesday, and as of the time of the report, her identity remains unknown.

A resident, who spoke anonymously to PUNCH Online, stated that there were no signs of blood or trauma on the woman’s body.

The resident said, “It happened on Tuesday morning. The woman was killed and dumped in the bush along Amaraku-Umudim Road. She was pregnant and her upper clothing was removed.

“But what’s confusing is that there were no signs of blood, which would suggest she wasn’t killed by assassins or gunmen. We’re still trying to determine exactly what caused her death.”

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Henry Okoye, stated that he had not yet received information on the matter but promised to provide updates as soon as the command had details.
