A middle-aged man named Eric and his girlfriend, who is yet to be identified, were discovered lifeless in their room in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State.

They were found dead over the weekend in Eric’s apartment located in the Ayeyemi area of Ondo city. Sources in the area have alleged that the couple were in a sexual position when they were found.

The cause of their deaths has not been determined. However, some neighbors and residents of the area have suggested that the couple may have turned on a generator and charged a phone using a socket on the bed, and it is possible that the woman’s chain made contact with the socket, resulting in electrocution.

A resident identified as Ayo stated that Eric’s relatives found the bodies when they went to check on him after he did not answer his phone. When they arrived at his residence, they looked through the window and saw the bodies. They then broke down the door to gain access into the house.

SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, the spokesperson of Ondo State Police Command, confirmed the incident to Channels TV during a telephone conversation. She disclosed that the deceased had been in a relationship for about two years, and both families were aware of their relationship.

The bodies have been removed and deposited at the morgue of a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, a resident of the community, Blessing John, posted photos from the scene where a man and a woman died while having sex, claiming it is a case of “Magun.”
