Agriculture students at LAUTECH have taken to campus to protest the lack of essential facilities in their department, including animal and crop units.
The students expressed frustration, stating that they did not enroll in a five-year program to focus solely on local vegetables such as ewedu and efo.
The protest gained widespread attention after videos of the event surfaced on TikTok, showing a large group of students holding various signs. One sign read, “No animal unit in the agriculture department,” while another declared, “We didn’t come to a five-year course to learn only ewedu and efo.”
