A Nigerian man based in the United Kingdom, Ademola Oke, has been found dead at his workplace, in what has been described as a sudden and unexpected incident.
Oke, aged 37, reportedly left his home on April 18 in good health and maintained regular communication with his wife throughout the day, showing no signs of illness. However, he was later discovered unresponsive at his place of work by a colleague who arrived for a night shift.
Emergency services were immediately alerted, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A family friend who shared details of the incident through a fundraising appeal explained that the loss has left Oke’s wife devastated. She is now faced with the responsibility of caring for their two young children, aged six and two.
The appeal was launched to help cover funeral expenses and provide financial support for the family during this difficult period. Donations have already begun to come in, with contributions gradually moving toward the set target.
The deceased has been described as a devoted husband and father whose sudden passing has deeply affected those close to him.
This incident adds to a growing number of recent deaths involving Nigerians in the UK, raising concerns within the diaspora community.
Family members and well-wishers continue to call for support while also urging the public to keep the grieving family in their thoughts.
