The founder of Omega Power Ministries, Chibuzor Chinyere, has provided further support to a young autistic man known as Aboy, now renamed Elijah, shortly after his recent marriage.
In a post shared online, the cleric announced that Elijah was gifted a Lexus car, while he and his wife also received a plot of land as part of efforts to support their new life together.
Chinyere also revealed that Elijah has been appointed as an ambassador for the church’s free school dedicated to children living with autism and Down syndrome.
This development follows the pastor’s earlier involvement in arranging Elijah’s marriage to an older woman, a decision that generated widespread reactions on social media.
According to the cleric, Elijah had been abandoned at a young age and was raised under his care within the church. Beyond the recent gifts, the pastor had previously promised additional financial assistance, accommodation, and other welfare support for the couple.
Despite the initial public criticism surrounding the marriage, Chinyere has continued to express confidence in the couple’s future while providing updates on their progress and well-being.
