A resurfaced video showing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu speaking about an encounter with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has sparked reactions online.
In the video, Tinubu recalled attending the ordination ceremony of his wife in the church, where Pastor Adeboye reportedly gave him the name “Abraham” and explained its significance.
According to the President, he asked the cleric why he was given the name, and Pastor Adeboye responded that Abraham is known as the father of many nations, adding that he should watch and see how the meaning would unfold.
Tinubu made the remarks during a meeting with leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria and other Christian stakeholders in Kano State.
