Popular singer Joseph Akinfenwaa Donus, aka Joeboy, has criticized the federal government for focusing on changing the National Anthem rather than addressing the numerous challenges facing the country.
According to Drivetvnews, President Bola Tinubu signed the National Anthem Bill 2024 into law on Wednesday to reinstate the old anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”
In response, Joeboy questioned why changing the National Anthem was prioritized over urgent national issues. Taking to his X handle, he expressed, “Of all the problems Nigerians have to deal with, changing the national anthem is priority? Okay naw.”
