After their traditional wedding ceremony, Davido, the well-known Afrobeats artist also known as David Adeleke, has been getting numerous inquiries from fans eager to know details about his upcoming white wedding with his wife, Chef Chioma. Reports from Gistlover confirm that Davido and Chioma exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony held in Lagos last Tuesday.
Following the festivities, one curious fan took to Davido’s X comment section on Friday morning to ask about the timeline for their white wedding. The fan queried, “When’s the white wedding?”
Davido’s response, “Ogechi,” while lacking specific details, references the official theme song for Davido and Chioma’s traditional wedding.
In the meantime, Davido and Chioma left the country on Thursday morning, presumably for a honeymoon getaway. Davido is scheduled to perform at the 2024 BET Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles this Sunday, where he’s nominated in the Viewers’ Choice category for his collaboration on Chris Brown’s track “Sensational” with fellow Nigerian artist Lojay.
