Veteran fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, also known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has intervened in the ongoing dispute between Nigerian singers Dammy Krane and Davido, urging Dammy Krane to cease their public dispute. Last year, Dammy Krane had publicly accused Davido of owing him money, while more recently he implicated Davido in the tragic death of his friend Tagbo in 2017.
During a live performance in the USA, KWAM 1 addressed the issue directly, stating, “I want to send a message to my son, Dammy Krane, to end the fight with Davido. I, Wasiu Ayinde, am giving this directive. I don’t want to hear any more about this from either of you. No one needs to lose their life over this.”
Meanwhile, Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy also weighed in on the matter, advising Dammy Krane against escalating the conflict further, pointing out the potential legal consequences for Davido. Burna Boy, drawing from his own experiences with legal troubles, advocated for a peaceful resolution instead.
