Isaac Fayose, sibling of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has offered counsel to singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, on navigating his custody dispute with his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, urging him to approach the matter with wisdom. The legal battle between Davido and Sophia over their daughter has been a subject of ongoing scrutiny.
In a recent video shared on his Instagram, Fayose stressed the importance of wisdom in managing relationships with multiple baby mamas. Drawing from personal experience, he disclosed that in his younger years, he prioritized his children over their mothers. However, with age, he learned that showing love and respect to the mothers was crucial in maintaining bonds with his children.
Fayose, who has had relationships with six baby mamas and two wives spread across four continents, emphasized, “You need wisdom to navigate being a serial baby father. When I was younger, I loved my children more than their mothers because I wasn’t married to them. Now that I’m older, I love their mothers more than the kids. When I show their mothers love, they send the children back to me.”
Highlighting the complexities involved, he added, “If you prioritize children over their mother, she may brand you a deadbeat father. It’s challenging. I am a serial baby father, managing relationships across different continents. My goal is for all of them to love me and for me to play a role in their lives. I don’t pursue the children; I pursue their mothers.”
Fayose concluded by advising Davido, “May God grant you wisdom to handle this, Davido. It’s not just about money; patience is also essential.”
