David Olaniyi Oyedepo, the Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, has urged young people to align their decisions with God’s plans. He emphasized that only God can guide individuals to success in their careers, advising against making decisions independently of divine direction.

“Don’t make plans without consulting God. Seek His guidance because His plan is already blessed,” Oyedepo stated.

He elaborated that understanding God’s plan requires individuals to “withdraw to a quiet place to hear from Him.”

“You need a calm and humble spirit to hear God’s voice. To perceive the spiritual voice, one must be spiritually attuned and receptive,” he noted.

Speaking at the Annual Youths Alive Convention (AYAC2024) on Saturday, Oyedepo stressed that listening to God’s voice is crucial for achieving success. He pointed out that the church’s achievements are a result of heeding spiritual guidance.

“Being where God instructs you and doing what He directs ensures your success. The voice of God, found in the Bible, can lead you to prominence in your career. However, you must be attentive to hear what God is saying. His voice brings supernatural victory and favor, dispelling fear and instilling confidence.”

According to Oyedepo, “If you haven’t heard from God, fear may linger. Confidence comes from divine assurance, and you cannot be truly confident without God’s guidance.”
