The Lagos State Police Force is set to hold a press conference regarding the investigation into the sudden death of rising singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad. Scheduled for 3 pm at the state headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos State Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa, will address the public and provide updates on the investigation. The confirmation of the press conference was made by Lagos State Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, during a conversation with Punch. Mohbad’s demise on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances, has sparked various reactions, including allegations involving Naira Marley and Sam Larry. Earlier, the Lagos State Police Command obtained a remand warrant to further detain Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry for an ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s death, although they were not arraigned in court on Wednesday, as reported by some media outlets.
