President Bola Tinubu is preparing for an upcoming international trip, shortly after his recent return from France. According to Drivetvnews, President Tinubu is set to visit China in the first week of September.
During this visit, he will attend the 2024 Forum on China–Africa Cooperation. Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Tinubu, disclosed these details at a press briefing held at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday.
Ngelale highlighted that this trip aligns with the current administration’s strategy to improve the well-being of Nigerians. President Tinubu is expected to engage in discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping and sign multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).
In addition, he will have meetings with ten CEOs from leading Chinese companies operating in sectors such as oil and gas, aluminum, agriculture, and satellite technology.
