In his 64th Independence Day speech, President Bola Tinubu acknowledged the hardships many Nigerians are facing, particularly the rising cost of living and the struggle to make ends meet.

He reassured the nation that his administration is actively working to ease these challenges and improve the quality of life for citizens. The President urged Nigerians to remain patient, expressing confidence that the difficult times will pass and better days are on the horizon.

“My fellow Nigerians, I am fully aware of the difficulties you are enduring in these trying times. Our government understands the challenges posed by the rising cost of living and the quest for stable employment. I want to assure you that we hear your concerns.

“As your President, I promise that we are dedicated to implementing long-term solutions to reduce the hardships you are facing. Once again, I ask for your patience as the reforms we are introducing begin to yield positive results, and I assure you that there is light at the end of the tunnel,” Tinubu said.
