Born in 1923, Agbako was a celebrated figure in Yoruba cinema, known for his powerful portrayals of chiefs, warriors, and villains.

Starting his career on stage, he transitioned smoothly to film as the industry evolved, becoming an influential figure in Nollywood’s early days.

With memorable roles in classics like Ogbori Elemosho and Atorunmo, Agbako captivated audiences for decades, earning his place as a Yoruba film legend.

Agbako celebrated his 101st birthday this year.
