The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N899.50 per litre in a bid to ease financial pressure on Nigerians during the holiday season.
This price cut follows a previous reduction to N970 per litre on November 24, implemented by Africa’s first privately-owned oil refinery.
The decision is aimed at lowering transportation costs, which often rise during the festive period as many Nigerians travel.
The announcement was made on Thursday by Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of the Dangote Group.
