Prince Eniola Ojajuni, the National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council, has made a desperate plea for financial assistance after his abductors demanded a ransom of N100 million. The kidnappers have reportedly set a deadline of 3 PM on Monday, threatening to take his life if the amount is not paid.
A widely circulated video on Monday shows a distressed Ojajuni pleading for his life while a kidnapper holds an AK-47 to his chest.
“Nigerians, please help me! Any contribution—N100,000, N50,000, or even N1,000,000—can help save my life,” he says in the video. “My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help me share this video.”
The alarming situation has sparked nationwide concern, with many calling for urgent intervention to secure his release before the deadline expires.
In a statement last Friday, the Afenifere National Youth Council confirmed Ojajuni’s abduction, stating that he was kidnapped in Abuja on Monday, February 17, 2025.
“The Afenifere National Youths Council is deeply saddened to confirm the kidnapping of our National President, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni,” the statement read. “The incident occurred on Monday, and the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N100 million.”
The council further disclosed that Ojajuni sustained a gunshot wound to his buttock during the abduction.
