Nigerian artist Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has responded after a man named Fatai Odunsi, who claims to be his father, publicly accused him of neglect.
Odunsi, in a widely circulated video, alleged that he has been suffering from a stroke since 2022 and that despite his worsening health, Asake has ignored his attempts to reach out.
Reacting to the allegations, Asake addressed the situation on social media on Friday with a cryptic yet emotional message.
Singing in Yoruba, he said, “You can’t satisfy everyone, you can’t please the world. But whatever you do, do it for God.
“My own father wants to manipulate me, even though I have sent him a lot of money. I struggled for many years, but now they want to make life unbearable for me.”
