Popular TikTok personality, Peller, recently shared an unexpected experience while getting ready for the much-talked-about wedding of Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux.
During a live session with fellow streamer Sandra, Peller revealed that he and his partner, Jarvis, had initially planned to purchase the Asoebi for the star-studded event but nearly forgot. When they eventually remembered and made inquiries, time was running out—leaving Jarvis to pay nearly N300,000 for just two yards of the fabric.
Due to the steep price, Jarvis had to improvise by mixing the Asoebi fabric with other materials to complete her look for the big day.
Despite the last-minute rush and challenges, the couple still made a stylish impression at the wedding. However, their story has fueled online discussions about the escalating costs of Asoebi at celebrity events in Nigeria.
Social media users reacted with a mix of humor and criticism:
- gazkitchen_ joked: “It’s always Pele and this lady interviewing each other.”
- juz_blesyn compared Peller to a fictional character: “This guy and Jasper from Henry Danger, who’s more dramatic?”
- goddyrock_ commented: “Sense and Peller clearly aren’t related.”
- ayomi___x criticized: “Nobody! Absolutely nobody! Is admitting how much they paid for Asoebi. I’m honestly embarrassed for the people who made this boy famous. All he does is talk! He’ll probably soon brag about the outfit style he picked for his girlfriend. Gross.”
- big_sosho1 said: “Jarvis deserves a more mature guy who can truly look after her.”
- @Oppa_Wooseok added: “No wonder Blessing CEO only bought half a yard—she probably spent all her money on IVD
