Renowned DJ, DJ Cuppy, candidly addressed her past engagement with British boxer Ryan Taylor during a recent Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ) conference in London, where she discussed various setbacks she has encountered in life.
The confirmation of Cuppy’s relationship with Taylor came in December 2022 after a viral video hinted at a marriage proposal. However, speculations arose about their split on July 15 when both unfollowed each other on social media.
At the conference, Cuppy reflected on some challenges she faced, including the unsuccessful launch of her jewellery line and academic difficulties during her time at Oxford University.
Confirming her current single status, Cuppy expressed optimism about her future endeavors despite the unforeseen twists in her life.
Standing before the audience, she shared, “I can honestly tell you how unpredictable my life has been despite coming from a privileged background. Whether it was the setback with my jewellery line venture at the age of 28, or my struggles at Oxford University at 29, facing academic hurdles.”
“Adding to that, last year I got engaged, and now I’m not. Such is life, but I acknowledge that my story is an ongoing journey, and I embrace the uncertainties with hope for what’s yet to come.”
