The President of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Worldwide, Pastor Samuel Oladele, has appealed to Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration as it implements reforms aimed at improving the country’s economy.
Oladele made the appeal on Wednesday while speaking to journalists during the 2025 CAC Pastors’ Conference held at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
He encouraged citizens to endure the current challenges, expressing optimism that the government’s policies would eventually yield positive results. “There is light at the end of the tunnel,” he assured.
Acknowledging that leadership is demanding, the CAC leader noted that President Tinubu is working to ease the nation’s economic difficulties. He further urged the federal government to prioritise policies that reduce hardship and deliver the real benefits of democracy to the people.
Oladele also called on Christians to lead by example in promoting positive change. “You do not have to hold public office or be a politician to effect change. If church members live out true Christian values and preachers teach and act with integrity, the nation will witness transformation,” he said.
Addressing the pastors at the conference, he emphasised the need for church leaders to demonstrate honesty, loyalty, and accountability. According to him, “A leader who fails to groom a worthy successor has failed in leadership.”
