Nigerian content creator Mide Oladimeji, popularly known as Dele Omo Woli, has broken down in tears while recalling his last encounter with gospel singer Toluwanisings, who died on Wednesday.
Toluwanisings reportedly slumped at his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State, before his death. His family confirmed the news in a statement shared on his verified Instagram page late Wednesday.
The late singer reportedly left behind a wife and two children.
In an emotional video that circulated widely on social media on Thursday, Dele Omo Woli was seen sobbing as he recounted how he embraced the singer during their last meeting on Tuesday, a day before his death.
“We were together yesterday. He hugged me yesterday and I hugged him back,” the content creator said through tears.
Another gospel performer, Woli Arole, also paid tribute to the deceased by sharing an undated video showing both singers performing a private duet in praise of God.
