Nollywood actors Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, have hosted a star-studded thanksgiving and dedication ceremony for their triplet sons.
The celebration, held on Wednesday, August 12, at Monarch Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos, brought together family members, friends, colleagues and prominent personalities to celebrate the couple’s journey to parenthood.
The couple welcomed their three boys in May 2026 after years of waiting. The children were earlier named Rahman, Raheem and Rakeeb during a private Islamic naming ceremony at their Lekki residence.
The thanksgiving, themed “ETA with Love” and centred on the journey “from waiting to wonder,” featured prayers, music, dancing and performances.
Among the celebrities and notable guests at the event were Shade Okoya and her son, Subomi, Faithia Balogun, Bukky Wright, Odunlade Adekola, Iyabo Ojo, Yinka Quadri, Eniola Ajao, Jide Awobona, Regina Chukwu, Mercy Aigbe, Bimbo Thomas, Foluke Daramola, Mide Martins, Toyo Baby and Imisi.
Veteran actress Idowu Philips, popularly known as Iya Rainbow, also offered prayers for the couple and their children.
Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, entertained guests with his performance and also gifted the couple money while on stage.
The event came months after the arrival of the triplets, following years during which the couple faced public scrutiny, online trolling and insensitive comments over their childlessness.
Lateef had previously described his sons as his “three kings”, expressing gratitude to God for answering their prayers.
The thanksgiving therefore served as both a celebration of the triplets and an expression of gratitude for the couple’s perseverance, faith and eventual journey into parenthood.
