Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, has criticised President Bola Tinubu over what he described as the worsening insecurity and economic hardship facing Nigerians.
Speaking in a video that has circulated widely online, Oyedepo accused the Federal Government of failing to take decisive action to tackle the country’s mounting security and economic challenges.
The cleric expressed concern over the continued attacks and killings across different parts of Nigeria, warning that citizens who have endured the situation for years may soon lose patience.
Condemning the perpetrators of the violence, Oyedepo insisted that victims should not be expected to sympathise with those responsible for the bloodshed.
“The president needs to act now and stop pretending. You can’t slaughter members of my family and expect me to pray for you. I will pray against you and your household,” he said.
He further accused the government of acting as though it lacked solutions to the country’s security crisis, adding that leaders had failed to demonstrate the urgency needed to protect lives and restore public confidence.
Oyedepo also declared that he had remained silent for a long time but warned that the growing frustration among Nigerians could soon reach a breaking point if urgent measures were not taken.
