The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun Command, has reported that three individuals sustained injuries in a collision involving two vehicles at the Toll Gate area of the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway.According to Mr. Anthony Uga, the FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun, the accident occurred in the early hours of Monday and involved a truck and a container. One vehicle traveling from Lagos collided with another coming from Abeokuta, resulting in injuries to three individuals with varying degrees of severity.Uga stated that the injured have been transported to the General Hospital in Ota for intensive treatment, while FRSC operatives have been deployed to manage traffic congestion in the area. The cause of the accident was attributed to reckless driving and speeding, prompting Uga to urge motorists to exercise caution and patience while on the road. He advised drivers to consider alternative routes and cooperate with FRSC personnel and other traffic control agencies to ensure smooth traffic flow.Furthermore, motorists were reminded to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, reduce speed, and refrain from dangerous driving practices such as driving against traffic to prevent avoidable accidents on the road.
