In a bid to strengthen cross-border partnerships and attract investments into Osun State, Governor Ademola Adeleke convened a high-level roundtable with top political figures, city mayors, and business leaders in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

The meeting, held at Zanzibar Cuisine and Lounge and coordinated by Hon. Samuel Oyedotun, Chairman of the Osun State Water Corporation, brought together Osun indigenes in Georgia, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders from sectors such as real estate, fintech, automobile, and agriculture.

Governor Adeleke, accompanied by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Revd. Bunmi Jenyo, and the Commissioner for Rural Development, Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa, reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to drive foreign direct investment through business-friendly reforms and infrastructure development.

He noted that harmonized tax structures and improvements in the ease of doing business were positioning Osun as a preferred investment hub. According to him, deliberate investments in agriculture and infrastructure remain the backbone of his administration’s economic agenda.

“Our focus is on infrastructure, agriculture, and creating a smooth business environment. Investors will not face unnecessary delays or hidden charges in Osun. On security, we have strengthened Amotekun to work alongside the police, army, and NSCDC, ensuring safety for citizens and investors alike. I call on Osun indigenes abroad to return and join us in building the state,” the governor assured.

He further emphasized that Osun State is positioning itself as a benchmark for foreign businesses seeking stability and profitability.

In his closing remarks, Hon. Oyedotun pledged collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to facilitate the return of Osun indigenes who have shown interest in contributing to the state’s growth.

Notable attendees at the roundtable included Hon. Jennifer Aragbata-Etok (Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor), Khalid Kamau (Mayor of South Fulton), Senator Donnella James, Senator Kenya Wick, Rep. Gabe Okoye, Rep. Segun Adeyina, Rep. Kim Schofield, actor Alphonso A’QenAten Jackson, and gospel artist Darlene “McCoy” Jackson, among others.
