The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, could take actions that may lead to the removal of certain African leaders from power.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, the cleric claimed that the U.S. government is not acting in the interest of Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Ayodele suggested that despite Tinubu’s current political efforts, the American administration might eventually oppose him rather than support his government.

According to the cleric, any assistance from the United States to Nigeria under the current circumstances could ultimately create more problems for the country.

“Donald Trump will ensure that some African presidents are removed. The United States is not working in Tinubu’s favour. No matter what he is doing now, Trump may eventually turn against him,” the statement quoted Ayodele as saying.

He also raised concerns about security challenges in Nigeria and advised authorities to strengthen monitoring in several locations across the country. Among the areas he mentioned were Abuja, Lokoja, Benue State, Kogi State, Edo State, Ogun State, Katsina State, Adamawa State, Kano State, and Sokoto State.

Ayodele warned that the country could face further security threats if urgent steps are not taken.

He urged the Nigerian government to take a more proactive approach to tackling insecurity and emphasised the need for strong leadership within the military, particularly from the Chief of Army Staff.

The cleric also cautioned about the possibility of political assassinations and attacks on security facilities.

According to him, some individuals who could provide useful intelligence to security agencies are afraid to speak up due to safety concerns.

He stressed that the government and security institutions must remain alert and take decisive actions to address the nation’s security challenges.
