The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retd.), has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will emerge victorious in Kaduna State during the 2027 general elections.
Drivetvnews gathered that Musa made the prediction on Thursday while speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he discussed the APC’s prospects at both the national and state levels.
According to the Defence Minister, the APC is poised to win the presidential, governorship and other elections in Kaduna State in 2027.
He dismissed suggestions that the party could struggle in the state, attributing some of the criticism against the APC to political sentiments.
Musa also defended the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu, arguing that the administration had taken difficult decisions whose benefits would gradually become evident.
He said Nigerians would eventually appreciate the impact of the government’s policies, particularly on the economy, despite the challenges associated with the reforms.
