Veteran Nollywood stars Faithia Williams and Saidi Balogun have drawn attention online after sharing a warm moment at a recent movie premiere in Lagos, years after their separation.

The former couple appeared together at the April 26 premiere of Efunroye: The Unicorn, a film produced by Faithia. They were joined on stage by their son, Khalid, with all three dressed in matching outfits.

During the event, Faithia acknowledged their continued bond despite their past relationship, while also expressing appreciation for her son and her team. The moment drew applause from attendees.

The film tells the story of Efunroye Tinubu and is scheduled for nationwide cinema release on May 1. It features actors such as Odunlade Adekola and Mercy Aigbe.

Their appearance quickly went viral, with many social media users praising the maturity and mutual respect displayed by the pair, who were married from 2000 until their separation in 2014.

Some users questioned whether they were truly separated, while others admired their ability to maintain a positive relationship. A few even compared their dynamic to the fictional couple Frank Underwood and Claire Underwood from House of Cards.

The reunion has also fueled speculation about their relationship status, especially following recent public appearances together. Saidi Balogun’s role in the film further highlights their ongoing professional collaboration.

Although neither has confirmed any romantic reunion, their public interaction continues to resonate with fans, many of whom see it as a strong example of peaceful co-parenting and lasting friendship in the entertainment industry.
