The Oyo State Government has announced the commencement of the Nigerian Army 92 Regular Recruits Intake for Tradesmen and Women, urging qualified indigenes to apply.
The announcement was contained in a public service notice signed by the Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Prof. Musibau Babatunde, on Thursday.
According to the state government, the recruitment exercise began on September 9, 2026, and will close on October 21, 2026. It is open to eligible male and female indigenes of Oyo State.
The government stressed that the application is free and should be completed through the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal.
It added that all applications would undergo screening, while successful candidates would be shortlisted for physical screening at the State Recruitment Centre, Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ojoo, Odogbo, Ibadan.
Prospective applicants who are indigenes of Oyo State were also advised to obtain an Oyo State Indigeneship Certificate as proof of their status.
The certificate can be obtained from Room 53 at the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan, or through the state’s liaison offices in Abuja and Lagos.
The government encouraged qualified residents to take advantage of the recruitment opportunity and urged members of the public to share the information with eligible applicants.
It further warned prospective applicants to use only the official Nigerian Army recruitment platform and not to pay anyone for the application process.
