Nigerian comedian and content creator, Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi, popularly known as Bae U Barbie, has explained why he moved away from skit making to podcasting.
Drivetvnews gathered that Bae U said he made the switch after becoming dissatisfied with being an average content creator and wanted to develop a platform that would set him apart from other skit makers.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Moraya Show, he said the idea for his popular interview programme, Curiosity Made Me Ask, emerged while he was trying to rediscover himself creatively.
According to him, he wanted to explore a different path instead of continuing with the format commonly used by other skit makers.
He said an interview programme titled Between Two Fence by Zack also inspired the creation of Curiosity Made Me Ask.
Bae U further disclosed that one of his biggest career ambitions is to interview United States President Donald Trump.
Since launching Curiosity Made Me Ask, the content creator has interviewed several notable personalities, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, veteran actor Pete Edochie and television host Frank Edoho.
