In a heartfelt Instagram post, she revealed her struggle with temporary voice loss, prompting her doctors to recommend surgery to prevent permanent damage.
Teni, the talented artist behind hits like “Uyo Me Yo,” disclosed that she was hospitalized in September 2023 due to extreme exhaustion. Despite the severity of her condition, she expressed her gratitude to God for her recovery. Remarkably, she managed to regain her singing voice after receiving medical assistance, bypassing the need for surgery as initially suggested by her doctors.
In October 2023, Teni made a partial recovery, allowing her to return to the stage. Her resilience and determination paid off, and by November 2023, she triumphantly made a full comeback, performing her new single “Malaika” as an expression of praise and thanksgiving for God’s mercy and grace.
