Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has opened up about a life-changing near-death experience, recounting how she briefly passed away, visited heaven, and was sent back to earth.

Sharing her story on Instagram on Thursday, the actress explained that during the encounter, she was told to return because it was not yet her time to leave the world.

Describing her heavenly experience, Ogala said it was a place of perfect peace where all her worries disappeared. She added that while there, she felt like royalty, surrounded by gold coins and servants.

“I may not have much time left, so I have to speak my truth. A few days ago, I died — but God gave me another chance,” she wrote.

Alongside a short video capturing the moment, she continued, “As you see me here, I was physically dead, but my spirit was in heaven. God told me, ‘My child, return, it is not yet your time.'”

Ogala described heaven as peaceful beyond words, saying she didn’t want to leave because all her burdens were lifted. “It was so calm, smooth, and beautiful. I felt like a queen with servants and gold coins around me. This was my experience,” she said.

She explained that she was guided through a beautiful passage, where it was made clear that her time on earth was not over.

Her post attracted several reactions from fans and followers, who expressed gratitude for her survival and offered prayers for her continued life and strength.

An Instagram user, #official_princessucheorizun, commented, “Please don’t die. Nothing missing, nothing broken. What God cannot do does not exist. God is your strength.”

Another follower, #hope.newton, wrote, “We are grateful to have you back, ma. May God continue to bless you with strength, good health, and long life. Rest in peace is not your portion — not today, not ever.”
